Creamed Asparagus Soup
It has been down right cold here the past couple of days and
hot soup is always my answer to a comfy way to warm up. I call this soup creamed even though it doesn’t
have any milk products in it. It still tastes amazingly creamy because the rotisserie chicken broth recipe I use is so full of flavor. I love to make a toasted grilled cheese with Ezekiel
Bread, Butter, and organic Pepper Jack.
Good stuff!
1 quart of homemade rotisserie chicken broth
1 can of asparagus drained
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
A pat of butter for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until you
have a smooth consistency. Heat over
medium heat to a gentle boil and serve hot.
That’s it! Super simple and easy
to make, less that 10 minutes from start to finish. Makes two servings.
