Dry Brushing and Rocking Your Lymphatic System

Dry Skin Brushing

In my post, Trust Your Gut: Diagnosed with Candida, I talk about the healing journey I am on and on that journey I learned about the importance of stimulating my lymphatic system.
It is the only system in our bodies that does not have a pump and so it relies on movement to get it running and often times your lymphatic system can become clogged with toxins.  Dry brushing is a wonderful way to help your lymphatic system along and it also tightens your skin, and gets rid all of those dry skin flakes.  So what do you have to loose?  It feels great!  I bought my brush at Wal-Mart in the cosmetic department for under $5.  Here is a short video to show you the proper technique.

Rocking for Your Lymphatic System

Walking, bicycle rides, stairs (try stepping up onto every other stair) and even rocking chairs (great for our seniors) are wonderful ways to prevent stagnation of the inguinal nodes... and you have awakened your sleepy nodes, says Lorelei Buckley, Ph.D
